You are invited to attend an afternoon social event with a small group of Bard first-year students during their orientation. The recently arrived Afghan transfer students will be among those invited to participate. 

 

Enjoy an afternoon of exploration through Bard's old growth forest on the Montgomery Place Campus. Play yard games with Bard first-year students next to the beautiful Montgomery Place mansion! Join a short walking tour of the grounds led by Kathy McManus of the Montgomery Place staff. Light refreshments will be offered. Meet at the Montgomery Place Visitors Center Pavilion at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 17. This event is open to the first ten LLI members who register in ProClass.

If your vaccination status has not already been verified at an on-campus class or social event in 2021-22, please email a copy of your CDC vaccination card or NYS Excelsior Pass to: registration@lli.bard.edu. Bard College requires full vaccination, plus at least one booster, for anyone entering any building on the campus. 
 
We know LLI members and Bard students will enjoy connecting with each other on these beautiful, historic grounds.

Only LLI members can register for courses in the Fall and Spring semesters. SummerFest is open to all LLI members and to non-members on a fee basis.  WinterFest classes are open to LLI members and members may invite a guest by forwarding their Zoom link sent on each morning of WinterFest classes.

LLI accepts new members in June of each year. When the number of applications for membership is greater than the number of open spaces, applicants are chosen by a lottery system. 

We appreciate your interest in Bard LLI. We are an all-volunteer-managed organization. We hope LLI contributes to our members' lifetime learning both from our courses and from participation on LLI committees.
