F3C Adventures in Poetry
Literature & Writing | Registration opens 9/2/2026 12:00 AM
Explore traditional and contemporary forms of verse from haibuns to sonnets, villanelles to pantoums with Lee Woodman. We’ll savor the work of time-honored poets to learn mechanics of meter, rhyme, and structure. “Loosening up” exercises and speed prompts will pave the way for time to draft longer formal poems during each session, with suggestions for topics and imagery. Both curious newcomers and seasoned writers are welcome—all that’s needed is a sense of adventure and faith in the magic of language.
