F5B Planning Your Destiny: A Well Supported and Orderly Exit
Other | Registration opens 9/2/2026 12:00 AM
Procrastinate no longer! To honor your life, take responsibility for your death and leave a conscientious legacy for your loved ones. Students will learn to articulate their values and wishes, have meaningful end-of-life discussions, and to codify their departure instructions into actionable documents. Topics include choosing suitable healthcare and financial proxies to speak for us when we are not able, as well as how to organize personal obligations and effects. We will discuss traditional as well as alternative end-of-life options. Students will make a plan to accomplish their goals, to receive support, and to help peers as we age together.
Note: This class meets five times: September 18, 25, October 2, 9, and 16.
