X4 Will the Real Norman Rockwell Please Stand Up!
Art, Music & Theater | Registration opens 9/2/2026 12:00 AM
Norman Rockwell: Idealist? Humorist? Social Activist? Our classroom presentation will view his artwork spanning 1913-1976, which captures the evolution of American life during the 20th century, and try to determine the “real” Norman Rockwell.
This is a three-hour course, to be held at the Starr Library on Monday, September 21. There will be a break for a brown-bag lunch.
At a later date, an optional field trip to The Norman Rockwell Museum will be offered featuring docent-guided tours of the museum and the studio.
