WALKING TOUR- Hidden Waters and Hidden Histories of Lewisburg
Beneath our streets and bridges lies another landscape, of streams and rivers and runs, and other layers of history. Come along on this walking tour and learn more about the history of Lewisburg: how the town was shaped by water, and how we have transformed these waterways over time. Using historic maps and other clues we'll learn to look for water and history all around us.
Professor Claire Campbell chairs Bucknell’s history department and her research seeks to explore and use environmental history to expand public discussions of sustainability and environmental policy. This past spring she led walking tours in Milton for BILL and we’re excited she agreed to facilitate this field trip as well.
- THIS IS THE REGISTRATION PAGE FOR THE 11:30AM MORNING START TOUR GROUP
