Bucknell Institute for Lifelong Learning (BILL) is going to the Black Hills & Badlands next June, and you are invited to join in the fun!
BILL has contracted with Premier World Discovery to offer a 7-day trip June 10-16, 2026. Our group will fly out of BWI (Baltimore-Washington International) and check into the Holiday Inn Rapid City Downtown, from where we will daily embark on excursions to a number of historical and national destinations:
- Mount Rushmore
- Crazy Horse Memorial
- Custer State Park
- State Game Lodge
- Devil's Tower National Monument
- Deadwood
- Spearfish Canyon
- The Mammoth Site and museum
- The Journey Museum (including the Sioux Indian Museum)
- Badlands National Park
- Wall Drug Store
- Main Street, Hill City
- 1880 Train (with a journey upon the rail)
- K-Bar S Lodge
With roundtrip airfare, included daily breakfasts and four dinners, this trip booked with BILL group # 204454 costs $4,554 per person (single), or $3,679 per person (double rate), so long as you make your final payment by check before March 19, 2026 (90 days before the departure date). However, Dec. 12th is the deadline for exclusive booking by BILL before PWD begins to fill the tour group with others from outside our organization.

Chris Lutkins from Premier World Discovery will repeat his information presentation* for all interested in this exciting foray into what was once our nation's wild west. Chris will go over the details of the itinerary, explain what to expect on a Premier World Discovery tour, offer tips for how to max out your savings when you make your reservation, and answer any questions you may have about the trip.
As of Oct. 15, BILL has eleven people booked into our group # 204454, qualifying us for free transportation between Lewisburg and BWI on June 10 and 16. This trip is now open for registration by non-members who would like to join our group of adult lifelong learners. Please note -- to comply with Bucknell University and BILL policies regarding sponsored travel, all travelers in group #204454 will need to have a BILL membership ($65/year) in place, June 10-16, 2026.
This presentation is free and open to the public, but space in the room is limited so your reservation is needed.
*Last June, Chris gave this presentation at the Public Library. If you missed it, have thought of new questions, or just want to see it again, you are welcome to attend.
**The Spring Run Conference Room stands alone in front of the Spring Run business community, across the parking lot from the BILL office, and facing Farley Circle. A sign on the building lists it as Suite 100. The address is 115 Farley Circle, Lewisburg.
