Are you an NPR watcher? If you are, on Masterpiece Theatre you will see the Viking Cruise advertisement as a ship passes by the Hungarian Parliament Building. Have you wondered what it would be like to see that yourself? We have recently completed a 26-day river cruise going from the Black Sea in Romania to Amsterdam in the Netherlands.
Above is the beautiful Parliament Building as seen at night, just one of the views as we cruised down the river at night when the bridges and major buildings were illuminated. We would like to share with you some of our observations and experiences of what it was like to “live” on the European rivers along this cruise.
