Join the Bucknell Institute for Lifelong Learning aboard the Hiawatha Paddleboat out of Williamsport for a special “floating classroom” experience with the Middle Susquehanna Riverkeeper:
ANIMAL TRACKING 101 - an interactive program about animal tracking with Camp Susque volunteer educator Stephanie Knauss. Participants will learn tips to better ID common animal tracks we find in our watershed and make a plaster casting of tracks that can be taken home.
BILL has been given a limited number of tickets for our group at a special price of $7 each (includes activity). No refunds or cancellation of charges can be guaranteed after Aug. 23.
Transportation to the Susquehanna State Park where the Hiawatha is docked (GPS address: 2205 Hiawatha Blvd. in Williamsport) is the responsibility of the participant, but you can contact BILL to request your information be shared so that you might arrange carpooling with the other registrants.
Those wishing to purchase additional tickets for children (anyone under 18) must do so through the Middle Susquehanna Riverkeeper Association directly.
The Hiawatha Paddleboat advertises accessible bathrooms, and snacks and drinks can be purchased on board.
