Photography as an art is more than just striving for perfection in photographs. It includes developing skill in visualization as well as in the use of technique to add emphasis or evoke emotion through the image. In this course, we will develop these skills and ideas through study of a selection of masters’ works and through analysis of participants’ works.

Del Kimbler is a fine art photographer and member of the Pendleton Square Artist Coop and Anderson Artists Guild. He has been photographing things all his life, with a brief stint in photojournalism long ago and about 15 years of more recent activity in exhibits and shows. Following his career in engineering education, he has taught courses in photography at the Clemson Arts Center and has been part of the Clemson Photo Club since its founding.
