Build Your Kayaking Skills on Lake Hartwell
In-Person Class | This program is completed
Kayaking offers an intimate experience on the water – imagine floating along in solitude (or with a partner) in harmony with water life and the seasons on the lake. Plus, no gas, sails, rigging, or slip fees! With the right equipment, kayaking requires minimal setup, is a great low-impact activity, and a terrific stress management tool. This course offers the chance to test the waters, if you forgive the pun. Your instructor will talk through the types of equipment available, safety concerns and best ways to enter and exit the lake. Then, once you are ready, you will hop onto the water, giving you the chance to enjoy the beauty that is Lake Hartwell on a nice day. All skill levels are welcome and accommodations will be provided as necessary.
