Mandala Rock Painting
In-Person Class | FULL (Membership Required)
Mandala is a Sanskrit word that means circle. Mandala patterns symbolize the cosmos, a circular vision of the universe. This includes the idea that life is never ending and everything is connected. Mandalas date back centuries and have a strong connection to meditation and introspection. Today, mandalas have become very popular in the stress management/relaxation world. Mandalas have come to encompass a broader art category called dot art. In particular, mandala rocks can be simple or complicated, but in the end, they are all about making designs with dots. Each student will create their own mandala stone to take home to enjoy. All supplies are provided.
