The steady course. The sustained endeavor. Upstate Forever’s work in the 10-county Upstate region of South Carolina has been a work of decades. This presentation will share with you the successes of that steady, sustained, and principled effort on your behalf. Upstate Forever serves our region through four programs: Land Conservation, Clean Water, Land Planning & Policy, and Energy & State Policy. Come learn about projects now underway, and ways you might help. We will describe how we protect and steward the and, why protecting our watersheds is so important, and which issues we support through advocacy. This presentation will be interactive and full of information about simple - and more intensive - ways you can get involved in local conservation and smart growth initiatives.

Elizabeth Swails joined Upstate Forever in 2022 as the Communications Coordinator.
