The Power of Story

In-Person Class | Available (Membership Required)

This interactive four-session course introduces the fundamentals of memoir writing in a supportive, engaging environment. Participants will explore key elements of craft through readings from exemplary texts, guided discussions led by published memoirists, and thoughtfully designed writing exercises. Writers will have the opportunity to share their work, as they feel comfortable, and receive constructive feedback. The course also examines the powerful intersection between memoir and the therapeutic process, highlighting how personal storytelling can foster insight, reflection, and growth. Whether you are beginning your first memoir or refining existing work, this course offers practical tools and meaningful inspiration.
