Ducks in a Row
In-Person Class | Registration opens Wednesday, August 19, 2026 9:00 AM
One of the hardest tasks in living a life is deciding how to handle everything when we can’t and won’t. That includes our final wishes before, during, and after our final days. In six sessions this course helps you identify and tackle important things you want to be handled properly. These include personal property, health decisions, end of life finances, and final wishes. Each two-hour meeting includes an educational component and class discussion during which participants share ideas and relevant concerns. You’ll have a workbook which will be an invaluable resource for your loved ones. There will be important homework, so we will meet every other week. Workbook and materials cost $50 per person or $60 per couple, cash or check payable on the first day of class. Expect open and respectful discussions and a few laughs as we tackle this daunting task together!
With more than 25 years of experience as a nurse practitioner in the hospital setting, Sandra Lowe witnessed firsthand the complex challenges families face when making decisions for loved ones nearing the end of life. She also saw the significant administrative and practical burdens that often fall on families after a death, during a time of profound grief and loss. As a DucksRow facilitator, Sandra is passionate about helping participants prepare for the future by providing guidance, encouragement, and support as they work to get their own “ducks in a row.”
