Joe McLaughlin works in Institutional Research. He’s also autistic. Joe was born when individuals like him weren’t diagnosed. Officially diagnosed in his 50s for work, it was his children’s diagnosis that exposed his own. Joe has spent 15 years studying autism, both to understand himself, and to help others. He’s written books, done presentations, and participated in round tables. He discusses meltdowns, education, ADHD, brain signals, sensory, DSM, myths, history, terminology…from an Autistic point of view.
