Psychological Aspects of End of Life

The undergraduate Psychology faculty at Dominican University will present a 5-week session addressing various topics surrounding the end of life. From the political, to the physiological, the development, the philosophical and the psychological, we will explore numerous issues related to the process of dying.
LeeAnn Bartolini
Dr. Bartolini earned two BA degrees at Dominican College of San Rafael in Psychology and Art History, and her MA, (1981) and Ph.D. degrees at the California School of Psychology, Berkeley in 1983. She is a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY8735) who specializes in the treatment of mental disorders and helping individuals and couples with everyday challenges in living. She has been teaching at Dominican since 1985, joining the Psychology Department full-time in 1993. LeeAnn is involved in teaching a wide variety of undergraduate psychology courses, as well as courses in the Humanities and in the Women and Gender Studies program. She maintains a local private practice and is involved in diverse community work, including being a board member at the Center for Domestic Peace from 2003-2015. In 2013 she was inducted into the Marin Women's Hall of Fame.
