Learning to see is more than a skill—it’s a way of being present. Each of us experiences
the world through our own emotions, memories, and rhythms, and how we see changes
from moment to moment.
This class invites you to slow down, look deeply, and truly see the world around you.
Through examples, guided exercises, and discussions, you’ll learn to use the elements
of design to create images that reflect your unique creative voice.
This workshop is designed for phone photographers and those who rely on their
camera’s automatic settings. It encourages exploration of what you see and builds
confidence in creating the images you envision. Beginning with the second session,
we’ll open each class with a “Kind Critique,” where we share and discuss your
photographs. Photographers already comfortable with manual camera settings are
welcome to join but will not submit images for critique.
"Great photographs aren't taken, they are made"
