Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Robert Frost is sometimes called America’s greatest poet. This course will focus on a cross-section of his work. We’ll look at some of his most famous poems, as well as some not so famous. We’ll read some of his poetry aloud and discuss what his message is in each of the poems we consider.

Format: The first meeting will be introductory. A list of poems for each weekly meeting will then be distributed. Participants will be asked to select poems for discussion each week and to lead a discussion of the poems. This is a Zoom video conferencing class.

Resources/Expenses: We will use The Poetry of Robert Frost, edited by Edward Connery Lathem (1969), available on Amazon from $4.95 and up. There are no additional expenses.
