Is your cell phone your favorite camera? Do you fuss over those photos, editing and enhancing them? If so, join with LLC’ers who are experimenting with and enjoying cell phone photography and photo editing. It’s creative, instructive, social, and fun. Our activities: Going on photo shoots together and sharing our photos with a congenial group. Our tools: Our cell phones (Apple or Android) and any editing app (i.e., Snapseed, Apple Photo, etc.).

Format: Usually on the first Tuesday afternoon of the month, we go on a photo shoot. On the third Tuesday afternoon, we meet at the Temple to share photos, but see calendar below. Everyone is expected to help with running our activities, choosing photo shoot locales, and emailing photos and notices.

Spring Calendar:
Organizational meeting: 3/21
Photo shoots: 3/28, 4/18, 5/9
Photo sharing: 3/21, 4/11, 5/2 and 5/23

Resources/Expenses: No text. Participants share links to online materials that enhance our photo and editing skills, but familiarity with an editing app is necessary.

Coordinators: Margaret Lawrence and Linda Shamoon started cell phone photography in LLC’s iPhonography class. They are now enthusiastic cell phone photographers and photo editors.

Margaret Lawrence has been a management consultant and writer. Margaret started cell phone photography in LLC’s iPhonography class. She is now an enthusiastic cell phone photographer and photo editor. In addition, she has coordinated several LLC courses including last fall’s course on women.

Linda Shamoon taught courses on writing in electrotonic environments at URI. She has co-coordinated over 20 courses, including numerous iterations of the popular Concerts and Conversations course, and currently heads the LLC Technology Committee. Since starting in LLC’s iPhonography class, Linda is also an enthusiastic cell phone photographer and photo editor.
