Imagine a safe space among like-minded people, where you can express yourself without fear or judgement. In this 10-week class, we will explore memoir, fiction and nonfiction – in other words, whatever your passion, we’ve got you covered.
Format: We will spark our creativity with writing prompts and challenges in class and for homework. While presentations are not required, we will be encouraged to read our works in class for comments and gentle critiques.
Resources/Expenses: None. Suggested reading includes Strunk and White’s The Elements of Style, On Writing Well by William Zinser and Bird by Bird by Anne Lamont, all available online for about $10.00 total, used, in paperback or available from your local library.
