The Historical Novel Book Club 2026-2027
Zoom Video Conference | Registration opens 7/27/2026 9:00 AM
NOTE: First class will be delayed one week to October 5.
Each month the class discusses a historical novel on our assigned list, which takes us across the globe and down through the centuries, whether that is to China during the Yang Dynasty, Florence in the Renaissance, Manhattan in 1800, or Mexico in the days of Montezuma.
Format: Each meeting will be a group discussion of that month’s novel. Presentations are not required.
Resources/Expenses: Expenses for club members each month will be modest. Books are usually available from Amazon in paperback and/or on Kindle, or at public libraries.
Coordinators: Dennis Flavin and Bob Martin will be coordinating this class for the seventh year.
