This semester Father Hughes will present a series of three classes on the parables of Jesus. Using the book titled The Forty Parables of Jesus by award winning author Gerhard Lohfink, he will speak to the content of unique sayings that were preserved by the early Christian community, specifically by the four Gospel writers. They were routine parts of the Sunday liturgy and were widely interpreted by that same Christian community.

Please note that these classes will start at 9:00 A.M. and conclude by 11:00 A.M. It is not required that you read the book prior to the class but it is available on Amazon for about $26.
