As we age, the brain retains a remarkable capacity for growth, change, and new learning.
In this session, Dr. Frank explores how short term and long term memories are formed, what differentiates them, and how these processes influence learning outcomes. Participants will examine key factors that shape effective learning—such as attention, personal habits, prior knowledge, and relevancy. Participants will leave with practical, evidence-based strategies they can start using immediately to strengthen their learning.
Grounded in Mind, Brain, and Education (MBE) Science, an interdisciplinary field that integrates psychology, neuroscience, and educational research, this presentation translates cutting edge findings into accessible, actionable guidance. Through MBE principles, participants will engage with innovative research on adult learning and connect it to real world strategies.
