This course offers an accessible yet comprehensive introduction to the dynamic field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Students will explore what AI is, how it works, and the various ways it is integrated into modern society.
The curriculum covers key topics including machine learning, types of AI systems (narrow, general, and superintelligent AI), current capabilities in industries like personal uses, healthcare, finance, and education, and critical limitations such as bias, ethical concerns, and transparency. This will be a four part series of 1.5 hour each session. Monday/Wednesday n the fall semester
