Polish Heroes of the Revolutionary War
Class | Available (Membership Required)
During the Revolutionary War, three Poles played significant roles that contributed to the colonies' victory in the long war and the defeat of the British. These men shared several characteristics: they were educated, hardworking, and dedicated to fighting the tyranny of any kind. This seminar will examine the lives of Thaddeus Kosciuszko, Casimir Pulaski, and Haym Salomon, and the impact they had on the war. All three men paid dearly for their part in fighting for freedom. Join local author and journalist, Katrina Sawver, as she discusses her research on the men history forgot.
