SS23-0332 Milk the Goat, Make the Soap
Stillwater | This course is completed
Come visit our barns and learn about the history of soap making. You’ll meet our goats, have a chance to milk one and then use that milk to make your own soap. You’ll be guided through the process of melting oils, mixing lye and goat’s milk, before selecting the fragrance and soap mold you wish to use. You’ll go home with your own soap (which will need to be unmolded within 24 hours and left to cure for several weeks in a cool dry place), so you can experience the benefits of goat milk in soap for yourself.
