Learn the basics of drawing using different drawing media including pencil, charcoal and pen and ink wash. We will draw from both still life and photos. References will be provided but students may bring their own photos for subject matter. This class is good for both beginners and those with drawing experience. We’ll focus on developing our observational abilities to improve drawing skills while covering the visual elements of line, shape, form, space, value and texture.
