SS25-311 Tai Chi for Health and Relaxation

Stillwater | Available (Membership Required)

Experience this ancient Chinese martial art that is more like “meditation in motion” and provides health benefits for the body, mind and spirit. We’ll start with easy warm up exercises to loosen up and demonstrate other techniques for relaxation and mental focus before focusing on the Tai Chi forms, which are practiced in three sections as a sort of slow-motion routine. Learning the Tai Chi forms relieves stress, encourages relaxation, improves balance and helps bolster cognitive ability as you work to memorize the movements.
