OS25-0411 Scissortail Park Tour
Oklahoma City | Available (Membership Required)
Silver Flyers Golf Cart tour of the park. Scissortail Park is a 70-acre urban oasis extending from the core of downtown Oklahoma City to the shore of the Oklahoma River. You’re probably most familiar with the Skydance Bridge that connects two sections of the park across I-40.
Afterwards, we’ll lunch at Social Capital (517 S. Hudson), Oklahoma’s craft beer headquarters with a rooftop patio overlooking Scissortail Park. Since this is an all-outdoor day, dress for rain, wind, and maybe bring a blanket for the golf cart ride if you run cold.
Maximum 10 people (5 per golf cart, plus 1 staff tour guide/driver)
What should I expect from the tour?
Tours last 45-60 minutes and include a tour of both the Upper and Lower sections of Scissortail Park. Staff will share interesting facts about gardens, facilities, attractions, and Park history.
Where do Tour participants meet the staff?
Tours will depart from the parking lot of Union Station located at 300 SW 7th Street, OKC, OK 73019.
Is there reserved parking available?
Scissortail Park staff will reserve up to two parking spots for tour participants in our Union Station parking lot.
For additional participants, there is metered parking available around the Upper Park during the week. There are no meters at the Lower Park. If parking at Lower Park, please plan for a 10-15 minute walk to Upper Park.
Is the Park ADA-accessible?
The Park is ADA-accessible with pathways that are ground-level but our golf cart is not ADA-compliant. Staff will not be able to help participants transition onto the golf cart. This must be done by the guests themselves or with the support of another participant.
What should I bring or wear for the Silver Flyer tour?
Please dress for the weather. Riding on a golf cart may become a little chilly with the addition of wind.
There are water fountains around the Park but we suggest bringing a water bottle with you just in case you become thirsty.
