T25F-1010 Tour: The Life and Law Career of Bass Reeves

Tulsa | Registration closed 9/29/2025

Explore the extraordinary life of legendary lawman Bass Reeves, one of the first Black Deputy U.S. Marshals west of the Mississippi. Serving in Fort Smith and Muskogee for over 30 years, Reeves earned a reputation for courage, integrity, and justice. This half-day tour from Tulsa includes a visit to Muskogee’s Three Rivers Museum, the Bass Reeves statue and other key sites tied to his service with the U.S. Marshals and Muskogee Police. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before returning; attendees will purchase their own lunch.

Because of some trip logistics, the tour guide recommends carpooling when possible. Registrants should meet at Church of the Madalene at 9am for a 9:15am departure.
