S25F-0111 Fundamentals of Tai Chi

Stillwater | Available (Membership Required)

In this course we will learn and practice a few simple movements that are fundamental to the art of Tai Chi Chuan. Tai Chi integrates mental attention and breath with slow, relaxed movements and is a meditative practice that has a range of health benefits, including improved balance, lower risk of falls, lowered blood pressure and elevated mood. Each class will begin with some simple warm-ups, designed to relax the muscles and gently open the joints, as well as relax and center the mind. No previous experience is required.
