This course is meant to feel like attending your favorite book club! We'll begin with an introduction to Magical Realism, discovering some interesting titles along the way! The following week, we'll read Matt Haig's book The Life Impossible and taste our way through the novel with snacks that reflect the book's setting. The third week we will read Silvia Moreno Garcia's Gods of Jade and Shadow and create themed crafts as we discuss the novel. Finally we will discuss the theme of Magical Realism and the unifying topics of both books.
