Our method provides the instant gratification of playing songs right away but uses those basics to build upon, providing the knowledge needed to continue learning on your own. We start with simple chords using the best technique and then add chords so you will be able to play 4-chord songs in the key of C, at least 3-chord songs in the key of G, and at least 2-chord songs in the key of D. We have 12 ukuleles available for checkout for the duration of the course. Each session will involve hands-on learning and strumming our ukuleles, one-on-one time with instructors and experienced volunteers, and a sing-along using the chords we have learned. Intermediate players will have the opportunity to split off with an instructor to go beyond the basics--we will meet you where you are and help you progress.
