This course will highlight Oklahoma's forests, their diversity, and examine how they contribute to Oklahoma's economy. We will also explore the history of forestry, dendrology, and silviculture pertinent to Oklahoma's forests, and forest management implications for landowners including cost share programs. Guest lecturers from the profession as well as academia will participate. No background knowledge is needed.
