[NEW COURSE] [MULTI-PART SERIES] This is part five of six of a course that began in Winter 2019. We will cover the geologic periods from the end of the Triassic to the Paleocene (201 to 56 million years ago), including the evolution of dinosaurs and mammals, and the co-evolution of flowering plants and the insects that pollinate them. Plate movements, atmosphere, oceans, climate, and the great extinctions that occurred during this time will be covered. Participation in Parts 1–4 of this course is not a prerequisite.
