[NEW COURSE] We will explore the beautiful and often mysterious worlds of Peter Weir—winner of the 1992 Lifetime Achievement Oscar, whose work ranges across the genres and in locations around the world—by watching and discussing seven emotionally evocative and thought provoking films: Picnic at Hanging Rock, The Last Wave, Gallipoli, The Year of Living Dangerously, Witness, The Truman Show, and Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World.   Audio/Visual, Discussion, Lecture  (No class November 26)
