[NEW COURSE] We will examine the complex set of actions and the resulting negative effects on Japan that finally induced Emperor Hirohito to end the Pacific War. We will concentrate on the B-29 raids, US naval actions, the Russian military incursion into Manchuria, and bilateral political/diplomatic achievements.  Lecture
