[NEW CONTENT] We will delve into the inner workings of western tonal music by examining form, timbre, and instrumentation which delineate classical music from the Renaissance period to today. Additionally, we’ll examine compositions to learn the various techniques a composer might use to connect with the listener. Recorded and live performances will supplement lecture and discussion.
