Sp23T Just Thinking... (Zoom)

Zoom | Available (Membership Required)

[NEW COURSE] This introductory course is not about thinking about justice; it’s just about thinking. Through interactive discussions and thought-provoking videos, we will explore how to analyze information, evaluate arguments, and make confident decisions. We will discuss identifying and avoiding logical fallacies, understanding probability, the differences between correlation and causation, and tribalism and how thinking with other people can influence our own critical thinking and decision-making. No prior knowledge of the subject matter is required. Course goals are to inspire curiosity about the way we think, introduce logical thinking concepts, and promote further self education regarding the way we think. Audio/Visual, Discussion, Lecture, Reading
