[NEW COURSE] Plants and other living things have fascinated people for millennia, mostly observationally, and for the last 200 - 300 years also scientifically. In this course we will observe and discuss the fascinating symmetries hidden in nature (pinecones, sunflowers, etc.). Many of these observations can be explained by the Fibonacci series. We will discuss historical, mathematical, and physical insights into these plant properties which requires only casual knowledge of mathematics or physics.
