Summer Seminar Lecture #2: David Hutchings & Cole Reuben (Zoom)

David Hutchings is the Executive Director at Sonnenberg Gardens and Mansion. He will provide background information on this State Historic Park. He has an MS degree in Plant Science Education from SUNY Oswego, a second MS in Urban Forestry and Land Use Master Planning from the University of Missouri, and an associate’s degree in Horticulture and Conservation from FLCC.

Our second lecturer at 11 am will be Cole Reuben, of the Seneca Nation from the Tonawanda community. He will speak on Haudenosaunee history and culture. Cole has been studying and interpreting Haudenosaunee culture professionally for nearly 3 years and serves as a site interpreter at Ganondagan State Historic Site. He is the Curatorial Assistant for the Rock Foundation collection (Native American and related objects) at RMSC.
