In-Person | Available (Membership Required)

[NEW CLASS] From being dragged down to hell to marching to the guillotine to going over a parapet to being shoved into an oven or poisoned with mushrooms, death in opera is often maximally dramatic. Expanded from a class in the Death and Renewal course in the winter of 2024, this class will examine 13 dramatic, heart-wrenching, sometimes violent, profoundly moving opera deaths, all presented with English subtitles. Bring your Kleenex!  Audio/Visual
