[NEW CONTENT] Hearing, like eyesight, changes over time. Changes in our hearing can affect how an individual relates to his/ her environment. Correction is recommended depending on the degree and type of change. Hearing aids can provide some assistance to many individuals. Discussion will include reasons why hearing loss can affect cognitive decline and Alzheimer’s disease.  Audio/Visual, Discussion, Lecture

Elizabeth Cook

Elizabeth W. Cook, MA, FAAA is an experienced audiologist and hearing aid specialist. She has a particular interest in tinnitus and single-sided deafness. Currently she is studying the relationship of hearing to cognitive decline and the need for a standardized form for evaluating this in seniors.
