[NEW CLASS] American women played dramatic and groundbreaking roles in World War I. We will examine these roles, focusing primarily on activities that involved military service (Yeomanettes, Marinettes, Hello Girls, and Nurses) as well as surveying welfare services and charitable endeavors. This class will give you a solid appreciation for the importance of these contributions. Be prepared to learn the amazing history behind “your grandmother’s war.”  Audio/Visual, Discussion, Lecture
