F34T GOAT: Greatest of All Time in Sports (Zoom; OLLI @ Dartmouth)

[NEW COURSE] Each week we will nominate 10 athletes from the winter and summer Olympics, football, baseball, golf, boxing, hockey, auto racing, basketball, and bowling to be voted the Greatest of All Time. The class participants will vote weekly for the greatest in each sport, and in the final week we will choose the GOAT from all the sports. Audio/Visual, Discussion

Scott Mate

Scott Mate is a retired district manager who joined Osher at RIT in the summer of 2024. He is the current chair of the Pfaudler Lecture Series committee and started the Pickleball SIG in the summer of 2025.

Richard Neugass

Richard Neugass, a 13-year member from Osher at Dartmouth, has great respect and knowledge of professional sports players and teams. He’s most interested in the transformative power that sports play in modern societies around the world.
