W43Th Is It Up to Civil Society to Preserve America’s Conservative Institutions? (Zoom)

Zoom | Registration opens 12/16/2025 10:00 AM EST

Presented by Lauren Hall, Ph.D., Professor of Political Science and Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, College of Liberal Arts at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT)

Lauren Hall is an academic leader, author, podcast host, professor, radical moderate, mother, and indifferent gardener. She works to help people break out of false binaries and black-and-white thinking, which encourages a deeper, multidimensional understanding of our social and political world. Lauren will discuss American conservative institutions and pose several key questions: Has principled conservatism been lost? Have too many Americans become politically homeless? What if the answers no longer rest with political parties but with civil society itself? What role do each of us play?
