W47Th Hospice and Palliative Medicine: A Spectrum of Care that Is Important to Everyone (Hybrid/In-Person)

In-Person | Registration opens 12/16/2025 10:00 AM EST

Presented by Chin-Lin Ching, MD, UR Medicine

Many people confuse palliative care with hospice care, and there remains stigma around discussing serious illness, death, and dying in America. The reality is that we will all encounter serious illness in our lives whether for ourselves or for a loved one. This presentation will explore the similarities and differences between palliative care and hospice care, why understanding these concepts matters, and why conversations about them should not be taboo.
