[NEW COURSE] We’ll watch and discuss five “westerns” that revisit the original “cowboys and Indians” movie form, and consider how they adapt, change, and update the genre. We’ll watch each film in class and then discuss it in alternating weeks. Movies will include Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, High Noon, Thelma and Louise, City Slickers, and No Country for Old Men. Movies will be shown in class, but you can also watch them at home.  Audio/Visual, Discussion, Lecture
