Sp15M The Webster Arboretum Poetry Trail (Hybrid/In-Person)

In-Person | Available (Membership Required)

[NEW CLASS] The Webster (NY) Arboretum Poetry Trail Project was inspired by the shapes, colors, and textures of the landscape at the park. Poetry seemed a natural fit to include among the trails. Poets of all ages from the Finger Lakes region were invited to submit poems for the project. This class will explore the complete process of creating the Poetry Trail and encourage class members to explore it on their own. Audio/Visual, Discussion

Ronald Friedman

Ron Friedman grew up on a family farm in rural central NJ. An avid reader from an early age, he went on to major in literature and anthropology in college. After he, his wife, and son moved to the Rochester (Webster/Penfield) area 17 years ago, he quickly became enamored with the Webster Arboretum and spent endless hours walking the grounds and proposed the Poetry Trail Project.
