Su04M Battle of the Little Big Horn: Truth vs Legend (Hybrid/In-Person)
In-Person | Registration opens 6/30/2026 10:00 AM EDT
[NEW CLASS] The Battle of the Little Big Horn, also called Custer’s Last Stand, is a much-mythologized event in American military history. Hollywood and numerous books `have muddied the waters. The US Army’s own actions after the battle leave more questions than answers. For example, why are there 252 markers indicating fallen troopers and yet 211 soldiers died during Custer’s part of the battle? What really happened in this less than 60-minute rout? Modern forensic studies and more careful attention to Native American accounts have uncovered some of the lost details and paint a more complete description of the battle’s true history.
